Why stay in the Rogue Valley? Why indeed! There is something here–literally–for everyone! Are you a foodie or wine consumer? The valley is home to many gourmet food vendors and 4-star restaurants, from cheese and accompaniments (The Oregon Cheese Cave) to a myriad of international dining establishments (Masala, CocoRico, Porters, and Charm Thai to name a few) and the world famous Harry & David’s gourmet gifts, food, and beverages. We have oodles of delicious food truck options and all kinds of pizza proprietors. From March to November the valley is home to multiple farmer’s markets hawking locally-grown or made produce, meats, breads, spices, sauces, locally-roasted coffees, and baked goods. The Rogue Valley AVA is home to more than 180 vineyards growing more than 70 different grape varietals. And we have more than 150 wineries (including some of our favorites, Pebblestone, Belle Fiori, Dancin‘ and Red Lily), many with tasting rooms.

Outdoor activities your gig? We have hiking, downhill and cross-country skiing, fishing, boating–you name it! The valley has multiple lakes, stream, rivers, and waterfalls waiting to be explored.

And cultural activities? We have those too! We are home to the world-renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Britt Music and Arts Festival, and multiple smaller theaters offering entertainment year-round.

And with our Mediterranean climate (only 18+” rain a year and plenty of sunshine) you’ll feel like you’ve landed in Provence! Salut!
